Ahmed is a refugee from Syria. Separated from family and friends and far from home he has found refuge with Ingrid who has welcomed him into her home in the quiet world of an ordinary English town in Surrey.
As Ahmed tries to put the trauma of the past behind him and searches for a new life in England Ingrid finds she no longer feels powerless in the face of the fear and uncertainty in which we all live.
